Eriland has been updated to RunUO 2.0 Final!

I'm working on updating us, once again, to the latest RunUO 2.0 SVN version. All 66 updates from our last revision are now in testing.

Then I'll be working on many of the long awaited additions and tweaks to animal AI, wolf scripts and so on. Also, working on getting more realistic guards in the cities. More realistic means that they won't be the invulnerable one-hit super powers that they are now.. I mean.. What use are you if the guards are so damn powerful anyway, surely they're more qualified for great deeds when you're just an ant squished under their lightning bolt shooting boots. :P So yea, expect that and some other things in the coming weeks.

Also, I'm going to be gone from May 22nd through May 31st on vacation. Just a heads-up!
 
Animal RP system.

Ok. Finally. The Animal RP system is almost complete. I can now tell you how it's going to work!

Upon creating a new character, you will have the option of taking a teleporter which will transport you to an animal selection room. the teleporter will also strip you of all items.

Once you enter the animal selection room, there will be animal gates which will fully equip you with custom scripted equipment. The equipment will have a very high self repair attribute and high durability and will not be able to be removed. The gate will also set your stat and skill caps for the animal you've chosen to become. The gate will place an unmovable stone in your backpack which will allow you to change your hue.

In the future there will be another unmovable stone which will allow you to play many of the sounds that correspond with the animal you chose to play as.

When this launches, the first animal to be available will be the wolf.

Thanks for being patient while this is in development. Expect to see this released within the next week or so.
 
Halloween Events!

Festival Event: Halloween
Start Date: Friday 31st October
End Date: Monday 3rd November

During the Halloween period we will be running mini events when ever we see enough people online at the same time as staff members to make running an event worth the time and effort (normally three or more players online and active at the same time).

There will also be a special event that will be opening up on the 31st and then staying open throughout the event period, so keep your eyes peeled! (but not literally... Because that is just icky...)

So, come one, come all. The more folk that turn up, the merrier!
